Sam Paik is the CEO of ChatENG Inc., an education technology company focused on language learning. He spent over 25 years in international finance, working in senior roles at Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and BNP Paribas in London and Seoul. He graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in History. In 2016, he founded a Hawaii-based summer camp organization and has since focused on building educational programs that combine language, culture, and hands-on learning. His work today centers on creating meaningful experiences that help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a global perspective.
Sam Paik
Carol has worked in fashion for over 25 years. She is a co-founder of Opening Ceremony, a global name in fashion and retail, where she served as CEO for 20 years. Lim was also the co-creative director of Kenzo owned by LVMH from 2011-2019. She continues to work in fashion and culture but also spends her time working and advocating for the empowerment of women, other AAPI organizations as well as creating experiences for those interested in learning more about Korean heritage. She received her B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley. She lives with her husband, Matthew, and their two daughters in Los Angeles.
Carol Lim
Will Hong is a founding member and officer of Modu Moida, a nonprofit creating cultural programs that help young people connect with Korean heritage, build community, and strengthen their sense of identity. He is Managing Director of Major Asians, where he works with Asian and AAPI brands to launch and scale in the U.S. market. A former Chief Marketing Officer, he has led brand and marketing initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and growth-stage brands alike, including TNT, Cartoon Network, Oakley, and Celsius, as well as emerging K-beauty companies. He holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business. Through MoMo Camp, Will is committed to building experiences that bring Korean culture to life, foster real friendships, and strengthen each child’s sense of identity.
Will Hong
Curtis Seungsoo Lee began his journey in education by offering top-tier programs that cater to a broad range of students, from preschoolers in English kindergartens to K-12 students. He co-founded Lourus Enterprise in 2003 and later established Kynda in 2013, two highly successful education consulting companies. In 2018, he acquired Wise Mentor becoming its CEO and further solidifying his impact on the Korean educational landscape.
Curtis Lee
Dr. Hijoo Son is a historian, educator, and founder of Son Education, an education consultancy inspired by over 30 years of teaching. She’s currently working on two books—an education memoir co-written with her child, and Bodies in Motion, exploring the lives of Korean diaspora artists. Passionate about nurturing young minds, she has taught at institutions including Phillips Academy, Exeter, and Harvard-Westlake.
